Peace, Love, Compassion & Forgiveness

Sending love, gratitude, and best wishes to you on Christmas Eve. I’d like to share a few thoughts with you on what I believe to be true.
Love Heals. Fear inhibits your immune system.
Your body is self-healing, self-loving, and self-repairing…if you can learn how to get out of your own way.
The Body follows the Mind. The Mind follows the Breath.
You have so much more power inside of you than you’ve been led to believe. Focusing on these three facts will yield big results.
Here are a few thoughts to stay healthy and to ensure love, peace, compassion and forgiveness today, through the New Year, and into 2022.
As a health coach, my role is to give you a safe time and space to question everything. Like a snowflake, you are unique. There is no one on the planet with your unique genetic makeup and history. I am a twin with similar genetic makeup, and even identical twins, experience life differently and therefore have different epigenetics (the expression of genes). Here’s a picture of identical twins whose life choices have determined different outcomes.
So why on earth would we expect, and or accept, the “one size fits all” dogma in conventional healthcare? Especially, since my last post, explains the current outcomes? EEK!!!!
So, in a world of media and advice that is driven by divisiveness, politics, and marketing (pharmaceutical dollars make up over a whopping 70%?! This according to Roger Ailes, CEO of Fox News in non-election years), I’d like you to consider the following:
No matter your political, religious, or healthcare views, will you take a pause for the love of your family? Can we all stop naming, blaming, and pointing fingers at each other and consider that perhaps the other side or viewpoint might have some merit? Can we put aside our fears for a moment and have the courage for a real, honest, open discussion? Or, if the fear is really too great, then might we just pause for a moment, and remember that our loved ones truly love us and just want the best for each other?
Here’s a little prayer I made for those who believe so strongly in one political, religious, healthcare, or other dogma to the point of clouding relationships. (I also say this prayer for myself, as I can succumb to overwhelming fear of our future.)
I hope that you are correct. I also pray to God that if not, you have the love and compassion to forgive yourself and others.
In the end, the final hour, I believe the only thing of value is love. I believe that our journey on this earth is to learn love and forgiveness. First for ourselves, and then for each other.
These are words that came to me when I said goodbye to Brad, my son-in-law as he was dying almost 5 years ago. Brad was very passionate about his political beliefs. He was also an atheist, which created so much fear for my Christian twin sister. According to my daughter, Dana, Brad and I are a lot alike. We are both passionate and care deeply about others. We both like to encourage others and we both hold a deep desire to find meaning in our lives. We also like to please others and care what others think about us. We did not always agree with each other, and so I felt it important to say to Brad in the end,
“There is no judgment, There is only Love.”
I so believe this to be true.
What is the antidote to fear? Faith.
No matter your religious faith, or your viewpoint on politics or healthcare, have faith in love, truth, and justice, and remember to practice:
Love, peace, compassion, and forgiveness.
If we all practiced this within ourselves, then maybe our experience in 2022 will be different. Perhaps we will draw people towards us, instead of away. Isolation, after all, has shown to be a top form of torture. Have faith in yourself and your ability to heal from within.
