Has Your Healthcare been Hacked?

Today my business processing software was hacked. Literally millions of charges seemingly came from me to unsuspecting credit cards and new customers added to my contacts.

Then I was inundated with angry phone calls. When I tried to get support there was no phone number and the “Chat” feature did not answer my questions, or resolve my problem, and kept disconnecting.  I was so worked up I couldn’t think straight and when I called a friend in cyber security, I had a hard time even processing what he was trying to tell me.

It is all Greek to me and all I could hear was “Wah wah wah”.

Now that I am somewhat calmer (using my tools to reset my parasympathetic nervous system and move from the Fight or Flight mode to Rest and Repair), I realize this is exactly how some of my clients feel like when they are given a scary diagnosis.

Everything is Greek and none of the options seem acceptable!  Also they are wondering,

“Why me?”

“What did I do wrong?”

“What is the root cause of this and how can I fix it?”

“What can I do now to rebuild my health?”

Or, especially if you’ve had a cancer diagnosis and treatment, then “How can I make sure this doesn’t happen again?!”

These are things that I have spent over a decade working to answer and helping clients to navigate.

Protecting my bank account? Not so much! Heck, I get so busy supporting clients that I often forget to charge my clients, which is why I set up the automatic payment processing in the first place!  If I treated my clients the way my payment processing treated me today, I would be out of business.

However, I see this every day in our broken healthcare system. You are treated as a statistic, given a one-size-fits-all-protocol, and pray for the best. There is little time or space to ask questions and there are even fewer answers.

If you wish to take back your health and are interested in preventing or even reversing chronic disease, then schedule a discovery call to see if we are a good fit.

Tomorrow is a new day.

To Your Health,
