Are you a HUNK?

One thing I know for sure, is that social isolation is the most severe form of torture. Add to that the fear constantly fed to us by the media and we have a perfect recipe for bad habits and addictions.

My husband’s physician said his patients have fallen into one of three categories in the last two years. Social isolation leading to becoming either a:

1. Hunk. Those that took advantage of being home and created new healthy lifestyles

2. Chunk. Those that fed their loneliness with food.

3. Drunk. Those that fed their isolation with alcohol.

Which one are you?

Many of us have fallen into the Chunk and/or Drunk categories.

I am passionate about changing this trajectory.

If you would like to become a “Hunk” then

In January, I offered a 5# challenge. Here’s what I shared:

Have you ever wondered what 5 pounds of fat, inflammation, and toxins look like in your body?

Five pounds of fatty tissue has hundreds of miles of blood vessels, millions of inflammatory cells, and produces billions of disease-causing molecules/hormones every single day!

It’s squishy, sticky, and gross but beautiful at the same time!

For my husband (image below) and I,  it’s been quite inspiring as we can now visualize how important losing those 5 pounds could be to one’s health!

Imagine…

1. Less pain

2. Less inflammation

3. More energy

4. More confidence

5. Better sleep

6. Better mobility

7. Balanced mood

8. Balanced hormones

This is all possible and it is really not complicated!
