Let Freedom Ring!

As humans, we often don’t truly appreciate something until it’s gone. It’s easy to take things for granted that we have always had. This includes our partners, our friends, families, and, yes, our freedom. The United States has been the envy of the world for a few generations now. We’ve enjoyed the extreme pleasure of welcoming immigrants from around the world for the equal chance for education and prosperity. We have enjoyed freedom of speech not seen in other parts of the world. We have also witnessed how absolute power corrupts absolutely. When politics, the press, industry, and corporate-sponsored governments collude, we also witness the fox in the hen house. Decisions are made that may not be in your best interest. Decisions to go to war where we should never have been involved. Public policies where consequences may be worse than the initial threat.
As a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, friend, and functional health coach, I don’t always agree with others’ choices or opinions; but I love and respect them just the same.
With the constant barrage of technology and social media, we are more impressionable than ever. We are easily led to calculated conclusions within literally seconds. What we see is not always what we get.
When we lose our freedom of speech and freedom of choice, we are in trouble.
When we are censored for speaking our truth or holding opinions that are different from the narrative, we are in trouble.
When we no longer have the right to choose what we do with our bodies, including what is injected into our bodies, we are so seriously in trouble.
I am risking my business by posting this blog, as there are forces in this country today who will want to cancel and punish me for this opinion, but I cannot remain silent because you, my family, friends, clients, and followers matter.
Only you know what is right for your unique body.
Enjoy your freedom this weekend and take a few minutes to ponder and appreciate what freedom really really means.
LET FREEDOM RING!!
Happy 4th of July.
With Love & Gratitude,
