What is Functional Medicine?

Lifestyle

Three things are missing from our current healthcare system. (Some call it a sick-care system).

  1. 1. A focus on nutrition. The typical advice is focused on fad diets and failure, not on long-term, sustainable change based on whole foods.
  2. 2. Health Coaching, which offers small, simple, sustainable steps for success.
  3. 3. Functional Medicine. Asking, “WHY” so you can get to the root cause and actually make change.

Many of my clients have spent thousands of dollars on functional medicine tests with doctors, only to feel overwhelmed and defeated when they were unable to sustain the change they were looking for.

I think we have this backward.  Let’s start with an honest personal assessment in order to:

  • 1. Look at where you can improve your diet and lifestyle first.
  • 2. Commit to small steps with a functional medicine-trained health coach within a safe supportive group.
  • 3. Then decide on some functional testing if necessary.

This will give you the best results. Do this for you, for your loved ones, for your colleagues and for our country.

What is Functional Medicine?

  1. 1. Your children are not expected to live as long as you are. This is unacceptable.
  2. 2. You’ve worked too hard to give up your retirement to spend it at your doctor’s office.
  3. 3. Your children and grandchildren need you to be healthier. They need you to lead by example.
  4. 4. We have all been brainwashed to believe that this magic pill can erase the years of toxicity, stress and poor dietary and lifestyle choices.

Take back your health. Find renewed energy and join us in September for the kickoff of my newly improved Live Young with Lisa Program.

Your future self will thank you, your family and friends will thank you, and so will I.

With Love & Gratitude,
