The best part of New Years Eve last night was that we had a marvelous dinner and celebration with friends and neighbors and everything that we served was part of my Kick-Start to Wellness Program! The dinner was very easy, satisfying and yummy. We had 15 minute Halibut over sweet onion, bok choi and mushrooms served with a garlic, ginger, lime sauce; brown jasmine rice, a salad from the farmers market and for dessert we had chocolate fondue made with cacao butter, raw chocolate, coconut milk and coconut oil, served with fresh berries for dipping.   Except for the five or more bottles of wine and champagne consumed…it was all part of the Kick-Start program!

The raw cheeses that I also purchased from the farmers market were served with gluten free crackers. Cheese will be re-introduced toward the end of the Kick-Start program when you want to test whether you have sensitivity to it. Many people do react to dairy but are totally unaware of this fact until they do a program like I am offering where you eliminate the top food sensitivities and then retest by introducing food one by one in a supportive group.

If you want to take back your health, find your optimal weight or simply just feel better in 2015, then contact me. It is nourishing, delicious and simply a lot more fun to do this in a group.  Register this weekend for the online Kick-Start and receive a free copy of my book.

My other words of wisdom for today is to take time to jot down everything you have accomplished in 2014 without the critic or the temptation to say, “I didn’t do this or that” (which is the primitive brain talking). Instead, celebrate all that you did accomplish in 2014, even if was just paying your bills or showing up for work everyday. That takes discipline, determination and commitment. So you have the capacity for discipline and commitment. It’s all about how you look at it. You can choose to celebrate these successes or choose to beat yourself up because we are all perfectly imperfect.

Before you even think about resolutions, decide what you want to let go of, what no longer serves you. I asked my guests last night, what did they want to leave behind in 2014 and what did they want to bring in the New Year? We want to let go of anxiety, fear, worry or feeling stuck and we want to bring in more joy, more peace, and more FUN!

So now is the time to reflect on the good, the bad and the ugly and to accept it all just the way it is, so that you can move forward to create 2015 to be the most awesome year ever! If you’d like a coach to help you on your journey, schedule a discovery call with me, as I am taking only a limited number of clients.

If you would like to have some fun this weekend join me and Ana Medina on Saturday from 5-7pm at Beloved Yoga Studio in Great Falls, VA for a movement to music class and sound healing. Register today for $10 off! http://www.belovedyoga.com/events/workshops/

Most importantly, Carpe Diem!
